The Community of Madrid, through the Department of Digitalization, is once again leading Madrid Tech Week, the region’s premier technology event, which in its second edition will feature more than 1,200 participating companies and bring together over 600 experts across seven major stages throughout Madrid.
During the event’s presentation, Miguel López-Valverde, the Regional Minister for Digitalization, emphasized that the diversity of sectors and technologies represented demonstrates the strength of the regional ecosystem and Madrid’s ability to foster connections among industries, companies, and professionals, thereby promoting new business and investment opportunities.
CloserStill Media, co-organizer of Madrid Tech Week alongside the Community of Madrid, is organizing Tech Show Madrid as part of this ecosystem. The event will hold its 6th edition on November 4 and 5 at IFEMA Madrid, where 30,000 attendees are expected. The event, which has grown from 7,500 to more than 27,000 attendees since its inception, brings together six specialized verticals under one umbrella: E-Show, Data Center World, Big Data & AI World, Cloud & AI Infrastructure, Cyber Security World, and HR & Learning Technologies. This year, Madrid Tech Week brings together seven leading events that cement the region's status as a technology hub on multiple fronts:

Madrid, the driving force behind European technology investment
The Regional Minister for Digitalization noted that Madrid has already attracted more than 2.9 billion euros in foreign investment in high-tech sectors. The region also leads in data center infrastructure, with 734 megawatts in the Community of Madrid, ranking among the top 10 cities in EMEA in this area.
The week, organized from start to finish by the Community of Madrid, will conclude with the presentation of the Global Tech Leaders Awards, which recognize the professionals, companies, and initiatives that are making the greatest contributions to the region’s digital development and evolution.
