	Diego is responsible for the management of Iberdrola´s venture capital and new business program – Iberdrola Ventures - Perseo, aimed at investing in smart energy start-ups and launching new ventures in key areas for the growth of the company.   
He joined Iberdrola in 2008 and since then he has contributed to the launch and management of the company´s venture program, engaging its activity with the corporate innovation strategy.   
Additionally Diego also leads the Technology Prospective Analysis unit in charge of assessing the potential of key technologies for the future of the energy sector and is a co-managing director of CPD4Green, Iberdrola´s platform for data center development. 
  
After graduating and prior to joining Iberdrola, he developed his career in several roles related to engineering, technology development, innovation and entrepreneurship both in the Telco (Telefonica and Eir) and Energy sectors. 
  
He holds an M.Sc in Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an executive degree in Venture Capital from the Walter A. Haas School of Business in the University of California at Berkeley.
