In this area, ASHRAE not only establishes recommendations regarding the environmental and operational conditions of data centers, but has also promoted open standards such asBACnet, which has become a benchmark for the integration of building automation and control systems.

We will discuss how interoperability among manufacturers can reduce dependence on proprietary solutions, potentially improve real-time monitoring capabilities, and help optimize the facility’s energy efficiency and reliability. At the same time, it can pave the way for integrating BMS, DCIM, HVAC, power, and monitoring systems under a unified view of data center operations.
