Best Practices in Direct-to-Chip Cooling Systems Using Glycol-Based Fluids

November 4, 2026
Energy, Sustainability & Renewables Theater

The rapid increase in the power density of microprocessors has pushed thermal loads beyond the technical limits of air cooling, accelerating the transition to liquid cooling solutions. In this context, glycol-based inhibited fluids have become the preferred option due to their efficient heat transfer and their ability to protect systems against corrosion and freezing. Ensuring the proper commissioning, operation, and maintenance of these fluids is essential to guaranteeing the long-term performance and reliability of data center cooling systems. In this presentation, Dow will share its global expertise in systems based on inhibited glycols, analyzing key aspects such as fluid parameters, system commissioning, flushing procedures, and ongoing maintenance of these systems.
