This session walks through a real-world case study: a leading European insurer with a complex ecosystem of .NET applications, SSIS data pipelines, SQL databases, Dynamics 365, and interconnected data models needed to understand not only the applications themselves but also the underlying data layer—how information moves, transforms, and connects across the organization—before they could plan what changes to make. Velorum automatically built a structural knowledge graph of the entire ecosystem within the insurer’s own Azure tenant, covering both the application architecture and the data layer—reducing months of manual discovery to just days. Veltech, an AI and data consulting and services company and Velorum’s strategic partner, provided the technical and strategic expertise to put that knowledge to work across the organization. The result: visual exploration of cross-system and cross-data dependencies, natural-language queries across the entire architecture, and the ability to evaluate the downstream consequences of any proposed change before implementing it.
