Emotional Intelligence Applied to De-alcoholization
When an employment relationship ends—whether voluntarily or involuntarily—it is just as important to leave a positive impression as it is at other milestones in an employee’s career, and it is essential to effectively manage the critical stages of the process. In my presentation, I highlight the importance of proper emotional management to ensure that the experience leaves a “good impression.” I offer key recommendations for using empathy, constructive feedback, and transparent communication to prevent negative effects on the workplace environment, as we must look beyond those directly involved.
