Rafael Fernández Campos

Rafael Fernández Campos, PhD cum-laude in Economics and Public Finance from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a degree in Business Administration from the same university. Master's Degree in Financial Entities Management from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
President of the Club de CDOs de España & Latam, he has been Chief Data Officer at Bankia, and currently holds the position of Director of Information Strategy and Regulatory Reporting at CaixaBank.
He is co-author of the book El Valor del Dato (2020) (www.valordeldato.es), where the authors propose a methodology to assess the impact of data management on the value of a company.
With more than 20 years of experience in Banking, as Director of Management Control and as Financial Director, that is to say, always linked to information and data.
From an academic point of view, he is Professor at the School of Applied Finance, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Academic Coordinator of the Certification in Data Governance and Strategy of the Instituto de Empresa, as well as professor at other business schools, lecturer, columnist and writer.
