Nuria Ruiz Hombrebueno
General Director of Digital Health,
COMMUNITY OF MADRID
Nuria Ruiz has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid. Specialist in Family and Community Medicine.
She has worked as an attending physician for almost 20 years, both in urban and rural centers. Diploma of Advanced Studies in research, she has been a tutor for Family and Community Medicine residents and Clinical Teaching Collaborator at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with extensive teaching and research experience.
Master in Clinical Management, Medical and Health Care Management.
Director of the Condes de Barcelona Health Center (Boadilla del Monte).
In 2018, she joined the Deputy Management of Care Processes of the Primary Care Assistance Management (Technical Support Unit-Technical Directorate of Health Information Systems).
She has worked in the Technical Direction of Integration and Project Control participating in the deployment and coordination of different strategic projects of the organization.
After coordinating the sanitarization of the Primary Care Call Center and being appointed Acting Medical Director of the Southeast Assistance Directorate, in February 2023 she joined the General Directorate of Information Systems and Digital Health of SERMAS, leading various projects of the General Directorate, coordinating the virtual health center project and the Personalized Care Center (CAP-SERMAS) of the Community of Madrid.
In July 2023 she was appointed General Director of Digital Health of the Department of Digitalization of the Community of Madrid, a position she has held until now.
