Nacho Velilla

Nacho Velilla has been dedicated to digital transformation in the data center sector for more than twenty-five years. He has held the position of CEO at Templus since the company's creation in May 2024. Previously, and since 2022, he held the role of Global VP of Managed Services at Equinix, after having been General Manager of Equinix Spain since 2018. His resume also highlights his role as co-founder of Spain DC, the Spanish Data Centers Association, of which he served as president between 2021 and 2023.
Always linked to the world of technology, over the years he has oriented his career towards digital services, with a focus on interconnection, promotion and access to the cloud and data processing. His multidisciplinary background, which includes previous responsibilities in the operations or commercial departments, among others, gives him a comprehensive vision to meet the challenges facing the sector.
A Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Alcalá and Executive MBA from IE Business School, Nacho Velilla also holds a Project Manager Professional degree from ESI International. Likewise, his passion for technology has led him to get involved as a consultant with start-ups in a wide range of fields such as boat sharing or e-sports.
