Javier Alonso Sistac
CEO and Founder,
Wasting Time
Founder and CEO of Wasting Time Company since May 2021, leading the strategy and development of travel experiences for young people. Prior to Wasting Time, he founded and led Viaja Wäy (2018–2021) and worked at Barceló Viajes as the student segment coordinator. He has worked in consulting and strategic analysis at companies such as Grupo Saona, EY, and Repsol, where he gained experience in planning and management. He holds a degree in Law and Economics from Carlos III University of Madrid. His career combines entrepreneurial vision, brand development, and in-depth knowledge of the youth tourism sector, which has enabled him to turn Wasting Time into a leader in travel for young people.
