Founder and president of the Observatory of the Social and Ethical Impact of Artificial Intelligence (OdiseIA). She is currently working on the development of the Pilot (Sandbox) of Artificial Intelligence regulation with the Government of Spain, as well as in the design of the National Seal in Artificial Intelligence and the Algorithm Supervisory Agency (AESIA). She is a member of the AI expert team (regulation and governance) of the Artificial Intelligence Observatory of the European Parliament, and of the World Economic Forum (WEF). She is also a member of UNESCO's Women4Ethical AI (W4EAI) .
Salazar is a PhD. professor at the CEU San Pablo University, specialized in Ethics and regulation in Artificial Intelligence, and Director of the ENIA International Public Chair in 'Generative AI: challenges and risks'. Author of 4 books on the social impact of AI and other new technologies. The latest: 'The Algorithm and I: Guide to coexistence between humans and artificial beings' and 'The Myth of the Algorithm: tales and accounts of Artificial Intelligence'.
