Gabriel Nebreda Molinero holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, an Executive MBA and a master's degree in Electricity Sector Legislation, both from IE Business School. He also holds a certification in Data Center Management from the Uptime Institute. He began his career at Ferrovial, and continued at Siemens Gamesa where he led international business development in markets such as Portugal, Sweden and China. In 2009 he joined EDP Renewables and held various positions of responsibility as Global Business Development Director and Executive Operating Director for Europe. In 2019 he was appointed CEO of EDP Solar, where he not only led its launch as a new business unit, but also positioned it as a benchmark in photovoltaic self-consumption. Since May 2024, Gabriel has been CEO of Nostrum Group (formerly Ingenostrum), a company specializing in renewable energy and digital infrastructure. He assumes responsibility at a key stage for the group where the strategic vision is focused on the integration of decentralized mega data centers powered by renewable energy from design to operation. Under his leadership, Nostrum is driving the raising of up to 400 million euros in equity to develop more than 400 MW of data center capacity in regions such as Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid and Castilla La Mancha. A strong advocate of Spain's potential as a European digital infrastructure hub, Gabriel stands out for his commitment to talent, business model innovation and regional development as pillars of the new digital era.
