Fernando Mateus
CEO,

Fernando Mateus is the CEO and founder of Kymatio®, a company specialized in the management of cybersecurity risks originated by the human factor. With a background in Computer Engineering and a master's degree in Mobile Business, he has driven innovation in every role he has held.
Prior to founding Kymatio®, he held key positions at BBVA and Liberbank, where he led initiatives related to vulnerability management and information security. He was also founder of Alien Ventures, from where he drove innovative technology projects.
Kymatio®, under his leadership, has been recognized for its pioneering approach to cybersecurity, winning awards such as the Cybersecurity Luxembourg Startup Pathway, the Psychology and Technology Awards, the European Cybersecurity STARtup Award from ENISA and the INCIBE Cybersecurity Ventures.
Fernando's vision is to create a more cybersecure society by combining advanced technologies with neuropsychology, and to bring Kymatio® to a global reach. His career is marked by a strong commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and human-centered leadership.
