With more than 25 years of experience and certifications in risk management, privacy, comprehensive security, information security, and industrial control systems, he has held various roles as a consultant, speaker, and professor both nationally and internationally. He has led the development of undergraduate and graduate courses, cybersecurity regulations, and guidelines, and has made significant contributions to the security of national critical infrastructure in various contexts.
He is the author, co-author, and reviewer of numerous publications in his field and has been recognized with major national and international awards, including winning the (ISC)² “Americas Information Security Leadership Awards” (ISLA) twice in the “Senior Information Security Professional” category, as well as the TOYP Antioquia and TOYP Colombia awards from Junior Chamber International (JCI).
