Antonio Gracia
Leader in Boeing AI,

Antonio Gracia leads the AI team at Boeing internationally. Antonio has a PhD in Machine Learning and 15 years of experience in research and development of AI-based technologies for sectors such as biotechnology, space and aeronautics. He has done postdoctoral research in Switzerland for different space exploration projects of the European Space Agency where he developed Machine Learning solutions and published results in international scientific journals in Astrophysics. Since 2018 he works at Boeing Research & Technology, in Madrid, where he focuses on applied AI research and development improving aerospace efficiency, predictive maintenance, maximizing aircraft performance and autonomy, and process automation. He currently leads Boeing's global AI team and coordinates AI research initiatives at centers in China, Korea, Japan, India, Europe and MENAT. He has an active role in obtaining funding from the European Commission to execute AI research projects in the European ecosystem of companies and universities. He is also an adjunct professor at IE University, where he teaches an AI degree.
