Amadeo Ten Esteve

Amadeo Ten Esteve is a Telecommunications Engineer specializing in bioengineering, and currently serves as Head of Infrastructure and Applications of the Platform for Experimental Radiology and Imaging Biomarkers (PREBI) of the La Fe Health Research Institute. With more than a decade of experience in medical imaging, biomarkers and clinical trials, he has promoted the integration of a web platform for the management of clinical trials in the Clinical Area of Medical Imaging (ACIM) of the Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe. He has collaborated in more than 25 competitive and private research projects, including European initiatives such as the ARTEMIS and EUCAIM projects. He is co-author of more than 30 scientific publications in high impact indexed journals such as Scientific Reports, Liver International or Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging, and co-inventor of a patent on bone biomarkers. In addition, he participates as a scientific reviewer in international journals and has taught in master's degree programs in biotechnology and biomedicine. During his career he has developed web platforms for the management of clinical trials, the implementation of advanced multimodality image acquisition protocols (CT, MRI, PET/CT and PET/MRI), and his commitment to scientific dissemination.
