Albert Marqués Donoso

Villanueva University. PhD in Education
Albert Marquès Donoso is a professor at the University of Villanueva, the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), Camilo José Cela University, and the Don Bosco Center for Higher Education. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from the National University of Distance Education (UNED); a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB); a Master’s degree in Psychopedagogy from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR); a Master’s degree in Secondary School Teacher Education from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR); and a postgraduate degree in Educational Technologies from the International University of Catalonia (UIC).
He participates in projects involving innovative methodologies and coordinates a university-level ApS project. He is Vice President of International Research in Educational Law (RIIDE) for the Community of Madrid. He has conducted research in the fields of sociolinguistics; the emotional consequences of social media use; projects based on cooperative learning; bullying prevention; educational challenges in the 21st century; the digital divide; digital literacy; and gamification.
