Colliers announces the promotions of José María Guilleuma, current Director of Data Centers, and Gonzalo Martín, Director of Capital Markets, as new Managing Directors of Colliers Iberia. 

These promotions strengthen the firm's leadership in one of its fastest-growing areas, the digital infrastructure market, and reinforce Colliers Iberia's strategic weight in the EMEA region. The Iberian Peninsula and data centers are, respectively, a priority geographic market and asset class in Colliers' strategic plan, Enterprise 2030. 

José María Guilleuma and Gonzalo Martín: leaders in data center investment 

José María Guilleuma joined the consulting firm in March 2022 as Director of Data Centers, coming from Telefónica Infra and with more than ten years of previous experience in the telecommunications sector. His in-depth knowledge of the market, both financial and technical, and his strategic vision have been key to Colliers' growth and positioning in the Data Centers sector. 

Gonzalo Martín joined Colliers more than 15 years ago. His contribution has been particularly significant in the creation of the consulting firm's Data Centers Department, which began operations in 2020. Within the firm, he has developed a solid and versatile professional career in various departments, including Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. 

Both co-lead the data center team at Colliers, which is responsible for advising on data center capital markets in EMEA. Together, they have advised on more than 80% of the investment volume allocated to this asset class in Spain. Recent notable transactions include the acquisition of Nabiax, the leader in the data center sector in Spain, by Aermont Capital, and that of Adam Data Centers by CVC DIF.
